Found Leather Goods has launched a brand new website along with their Fall/Winter line of handcrafted leather bags and accessories. The local Bellingham company is expanding their product line as well as their reach.
Based in Fairhaven, Found has been a one woman show for the past six years. After steady growth locally and online through etsy, founder and chief maker, Nicki Lang decided it was time to expand and took on partner and co-owner, Leah Macaleer. Together, these two have worked to transform Found from a one of a kind custom order operation to a streamlined collection of handcrafted leather goods.
Found’s leather bags and accessories are created using thoughtfully procured, high-quality leather and hardware. Each piece is designed, cut, and sewn in their 100+year old studio. The name ‘found’ hearkens back to the start of the business, when Nicki created every item from 100% repurposed or second-hand materials—down to the thread!
We love how Found started as a company and we love how it has grown and evolved over the years. We are excited to expand from a local Bellingham company to offer our bags to the greater Pacific Northwest and beyond.” Leah Macaleer, Co-owner
